38 weeks

I may have only one more post before little miss Reagan is here! The 38th weeks has been good but, much like with McKenzie everything is getting crazy now. I have been so busy with getting things ready for school. I just want to have my kids ready and prepared not only for the exam and CRCT but also for high school and beyond. The rigor in my classroom has jumped up and I want to keep on the same pace. So I've been working on lesson plans but I'm just going to have to give up some control because all 8 weeks won't be totally planned out. I think I've done 6... good enough, right? I've also started to get really uncomfortable and iritable at school. I'm so ready for tomorrow afternoon when I'm done!

I'm getting really nervous about having Reagan. I'm nervous about handling 2 girls. I'm anxious about the C section in general. As I've said before I'm also anxious/nervous/whatever you want to call it that Reagan won't get as much attention as McKenzie did. I know its silly but I want her to feel as loved as McKenzie is by everyone. I know Jason and I will love her tremendously but its the others I think about. At the same time I worry about McKenzie not getting attention or not handling things well. Aaahhhh!!

So, on to the regular blog stuff ...

How far along? Today I'm 38 weeks and 6 days but the picture is from 38 weeks

Total weight gain: 28 lbs ~ up to 160 now

Stretch marks? Still none!!!

Sleep: What is this sleep you talk of? I can't sleep, even though it is what I REALLY want to do!

Best moment this week: Having an awesome review from the county office, Olive Garden with Jason and Kenz

Miss Anything? Seeing my toes, only using the bathroom a couple times a day, sleep

Movement: She likes to roll from side to side. Sometimes it is quite painful

Anything making you queasy or sick: Broccoli- ugh they make it at school and it smells nasty

Symptoms: Swollen ankles :(

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody

Looking forward to: Finally getting to watch the FSU game, going out to eat and then Reagan will be here!

Week 37

So again I've missed a lot of weeks. School started and I've been working on maternity plans non stop. When I have been able to have some down time I've been super tired so I apologise. I'm almost at the end. There will probably only be 2 more posts before Reagan gets here, then I'll be back to doing most of my blogging on the Williams blog. Here are some of the pictures that I took while I was in my blogging hiatus and then on to the normal stuff!

31st week

Apparently I missed a week. I really thought I did one last week.

How far along? 32 weeks today but 31 weeks and 2 days in the picture

Total weight gain: 20 lbs

Stretch marks? No!What I thought was a stretch mark is really a vein

Sleep: Ok off and on. Jason has started sleeping on the pull out couch because I was having trouble sleeping. I still have nights when I wake up and can't go back to sleep.
Best moment this week: Getting Reagan's room done. I feel so much better about her coming now!

Long post, sorry

Well, here we are at almost 30 weeks. The 29th week has been an emotional roller coaster. The weekend was good, Sunday we went to Stone Mountain to see Jason's parents/ drop McKenzie off there for the week. We ended up staying the night. It was good to see the laser show and hang out but it didn't do so well for me sleeping. Monday Jason and I had a date night and tried to put the crib together but found out it was on the recall list and we are now awaiting a part to come in. Frustrating. Tuesday I think I cried more than anything else. I don't know why I cried half the time either. Pregnancy. Wednesday was summer camp, a doctor's appointment and the aquarium. My 29th week picture is from our aquarium visit. Lots of fun but I felt bad I didn't go back to Stone Mountain with McKenzie when she asked if I would. Today has been a blah day and more emotions.

At my appointment yesterday Reagan is good as usual. She's actually measuring big this time, at 31 weeks instead of 30. I think McKenzie did that as well. They also told me no more than 3 C sections. I don't know why this bothers me beacuse we've always talked about 3 kids but I don't know if I like the idea of a doctor telling me how many children I can have.

I think my emotions stem from the fact that I feel a huge difference in Reagan and McKenzie. With McKenzie she was the first and everything was new. With Reagan we're putting together the same crib we used with Kenz, same carseat etc. I want Reagan to be special too. She is to me and Jason but I want everyone else to think she's as special as we do. The girl does have some new things (like her bedding which is totally unique) but I still feel different. Maybe it is just me, maybe its because I know what we're doing this time, who knows.

On to the regular post.....

How far along? 29 weeks and 6 days (5 days in the picture)
 Total weight gain: 19 lbs

Stretch marks? No, but I think there is one forming ... I'm cocoa buttering it up like crazy

Sleep: Better this week because I can nap late afternoon because McKenzie has been away.

Best moment this week: Date night with Jason

 Miss Anything? Stamina

Movement: Reagan thinks that 10pm is a perfect time to stretch out, just when I'm ready to sleep

 Food cravings: Funnel cakes

Anything making you queasy or sick: Actually, chicken is starting to get on my nerves again

Symptoms: Impatience, feeling huge, not being able to see my feet, soreness in my hip if I bend too much during the day, stiffness if I stay in 1 position too long... the normal stuff

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Happy or Moody most of the time: Emotional - so I guess that is moody

Looking forward to: Getting into my room at school and setting up Reagan's room

Patience, Patience

So this week has been about patience for me. I am so ready for so many things and I'm having to learn to just wait and things will get done. I write this as I am waiting on the carpet people. It was supposed to be delivered between 1 and 3, its now 4. See... patience. Other things I'm having to be patient about include my house being clean and organized (even though I feel its all I've done all summer), setting up Reagan's room, anything to do with McKenzie, and just meeting Reagan in general. Next week I start doing work related things a couple of days a week and then in 3 short weeks I'll be back until Reagan gets here. Where did the time go?

On the other hand we had a great weekend at the beach last weekend. I'm waiting on my mom to send me some pictures and I'll write more about that on the family blog.

Here we go with the 28 week post

How far along? 28 weeks and 6 days (4 days in the picture)

Total weight gain: Still at 15 lbs

Stretch marks? No
Sleep: I don't know why it is suggested that you rest now because you won't be able to when the baby comes. I don't get enough rest. I sleep at night but it never feels like a good night's sleep and McKenzie wears me out during the day
Best moment this week: Being at the beach and seeing my family
Miss Anything? Sleep and the ability to do things without getting tired or sore easily, maybe seeing my feet
Movement: Reagan is a mover but she's slowed. She still lets me know she's there though

Food cravings: Nothing this week, that is odd
Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Symptoms: Impatience, feeling huge, not being able to see my feet, soreness in my hip if I bend too much during the day, stiffness if I stay in 1 position too long... the normal stuff

Wedding rings on or off? Off, it makes me sad that I've had to take them off already
Happy or Moody most of the time: A mixture of both
Looking forward to: Setting up Reagan's room, Stone Mountain with Jason's parents, Ribbon Cutting and Summer camp for my new school, a date night with Jason

The Heat is On

The 3rd trimester is here ... and so is the heat. Good thing is we're going to the beach this weekend and it will actually be cooler there than at our house. Fortunately my front yard is shaded in the mornings so McKenzie can play, but my goodness it is HOT. Add a bun in the oven and its getting to be miserable. Thankfully I don't gain a lot of weight. Also we have a kiddie pool and I choose to look like White Trash while in there with Kenz. I mean 2 piece and belly hanging out and everything.

I went for my glucose test today. Man, that stuff is yucky! At first its ok but then the sweetness gets to you and YUCK. Hopefully everything will be good so I don't have to do it again. Reagan is doing well. Heartbeat is good and she's head down now (thanks to all those hand stands I did in the pool Sunday)! Here's the weekly post:

How far along? 27 weeks and 6 days (4 days in the picture)

Total weight gain: I'm going to start from 132 from now on. In that case 15lbs ... I'm up to 147

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Ugggh. Reagan likes to wake up at 4am and do jumping jacks or whatever so I am awake until 5:30. McKenzie likes to get up around 7. Thankfully she naps during the day.
Best moment this week: Swimming, and McKenzie being brave enough to swim by herself (and floaties)

Miss Anything? No, but probably will miss something while we're at the beach this weekend ... like a margarita or oysters

Movement: At 4am a lot but not too much throughout the day. She's bigger for sure

Food cravings: Milkshakes, chocolate chip cookies and cool whip

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Symptoms: I am HOT but other than that nothing really. Since she turned head down my hip doesn't hurt anymore either

Wedding rings on or off? On, but I'll probably take them off after this weekend with all of this heat

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: THE BEACH!!! Also, we're getting carpet installed next week in the girls rooms and then the 4th is Wednesday!

25 and 26

Again, I have been a slacker. In all fairness it has been a busy few weeks. I went on a Civil War tour of DC, Antietam, Harper's Ferry, Manassas, Richmond, and Appomattox Court House. All for free via my amazing grant I participate in! Once I got back we moved the guest room downstairs and painted Reagan's room. We're just waiting on carpet so we can start decorating her room!

Pointing to her name while at the American History Smithsonian. 25 weeks exactly.
26 weeks and 1 day in Reagan's new pink room

How far along? Today 27 weeks, but I pan to take a picture soon so I can post on Thursday which is my next appointment

Total weight gain: 13 lbs. When I went to my last appointment last week she was a little concerned I haven't gained much weight. I think I look huge personally.

Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Its a little better. I have a pillow I sleep with but its still not the best sleep.

Best moment this week: Painting Reagan's room. It makes me feel like she's actually coming
Miss Anything? No

Movement: She's starting to slow down a little bit. I guess she's getting big. She is breach at the moment so I'm trying to get her to turn. I know it doesn't matter too much because I'm having another C section but they still want her turned.
Food cravings: Lots of random things ~ Chillis, soft pretzels, ice cream, milkshakes, avacado and cream cheese sandwiches

Anything making you queasy or sick: No

Symptoms: Clumsyness - I even scraped my knee when I was in DC because I fell, I think some sciatica because its only on my right side lower back/hip area
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: Carpet and the beach!!!!

Sleep: Ugg... I'm just not comfortable. Pillows don't help and I'm hot. Any suggestions?

Best moment this week: Ending school!
 Miss Anything? No

Movement: She's still super active... I was worried after my sickness and losing so much weight but she's let me know she's in there and ok!

Again I skipped a week. The end of the school year is just so busy!

The most important news is we are having a little girl!!! Reagan will be coming sometime in September. We're not sure of her middle name yet AND we are going to keep it a surprize. Don't complain ... you didn't find out McKenzie's name until she was born! Here are some pictures from 20 weeks(the ones with stickers) and 21 weeks.

How far along? Today I'm 22 weeks and 2 days

Total weight gain: 5 lbs at my last appointment .. I'm up to 143

Maternity clothes? Right now my fav is the black shorts Melissa gave me and my jean capris

We have a Mover

Well, I skipped week 18 but oh well. Life is busy. The past 2 weeks have been very exciting. Baby Seminole has started to move (a lot) and there have been some exciting changes in the Williams household. Jason turned 28 (finally back to being within a year of me) and I have a new job. I will be a PB Ritch Raven next year! More about that move will be in the Williams blog soon (mainly as soon as I know more). Here is the update for week 19.

The Baby had its head/booty something sticking out in the spot my top hand is pointing to. I'm going with head with as big as McKenzie's was/is

How far along? 19 weeks and 4 days in the picture, today 19 weeks and 6 days

Total weight gain: My guess is around 4 lbs. I think I will get weighed when I go to the doc on Monday

Maternity clothes? How do some women make it thier whole pregnancy without wearing maternity clothes? I'm loving the shirts with the rouched sides!
Stretch marks? No!
Sleep: Good, started using a pillow between my legs
Best moment this week: Tuesday ~ it was Jason's birthday and we took the day off to hang out. It was fun AND I got the call I'd gotten the new job. McKenzie was super sweet and Baby Seminole #2 move around a lot
Miss Anything? No
Movement: Oh yeah. Anytime I'm still. Last night I thought the baby was doing the chop in my belly. I say chop and not war chant because we were watching the Braves and they were coming back and going into extra innings. I think my children are just born knowing how to chop/chant. When I was preggo with Kenz it took Jason until about 24 weeks before he could feel her kick. This baby has let his/her daddy know he/she is in there already!
Food cravings: Chocolate covered doughnuts, big pretzels
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Gender: I'm still undecided... we'll find out Monday though!!!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Sore hips and lower back, I don't remember that with McKenzie
Belly Button in or out? Flat
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Finding out on Monday if we are having a boy or girl, then it'll be Mother's Day and my parents and one of our best friends, Jeffrey, is coming in town!

17 weeks

Another busy week has come and gone. This past week was full of tutoring and working the nursery plus an overnight field trip to Savannah with 215 8th graders. This week I also went to the doctor. The midwife asked about movement and I said I'd felt a lot and I don't think she believed me until she tried to find the heartbeat and Baby Seminole #2 wouldn't be still and she could feel him/her move. The best thing about week 17 was scheduling the ultrasound to find out if we are having a baby boy or girl!!!

How far along? In the picture 17 weeks and 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: 2 lbs ( I gained 4lbs throughout the last month)
Maternity clothes? My favorites are tanks that show off my belly so I don't look fat. I did wear some maternity shorts this week and they were comfy but I didn't feel super stylish
 Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep: Very well once I get to sleep, my belly is starting to keep me from falling asleep easily
Best moment this week: Scheduling the day to find out if we are having a boy or girl ~ May 7th!

Gender prediction: I still say girl, hopefully in only 2.5 weeks we will know!

Labor Signs: No

Maternity clothes? Shirts for sure, my pants don't really fir either way

Luckly Little Seminole

So I found a template thing to try out with this baby blog. Here goes!

How far along? 12 weeks and 4 days

Total weight gain/loss: loss of 2 lbs

Maternity clothes? Sorta, most pants don't fit so I am wearing some of my maternity jeans that have the low waist band but they are starting to hurt now. Thankfully it is warming up and I can wear dresses!!!

Stretch marks? No!

Sleep: Something I want to do all the time! Most of the time I sleep well but I always get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I don't remember this starting this early when I was pregnant with McKenzie.

Best moment this week: FSU winning the ACC Championship! I rubbed Baby Seminole #2 for good luck right before we made the free throws to go up by 3.

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Green Veggies, picking up McKenzie

Movement: Not yet, I thought I felt flutterings on Sunday but not sure

Food cravings: In the past - fried chicken but now it is gross, rice with soy sauce and home made french fries (but not at the same time)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Green Veggies, although I did make little green peas the other day and not get sick; bone in fried chicken

Have you started to show yet: Yes, I could still pass as chunky but its a baby belly for sure!

Gender prediction: At the moment I have no clue...boy is what McKenzie keeps telling us so I'll go with that
Labor Signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody- between being extremely tired and crazy 8th graders I'm pretty cranky. I'm happy at home though!

Looking forward to: March Madness (who knew I'd like college hoops so much) and PawPaws 80th bday party in Pensacola this weekend!

The last month - and some pictures

Well I am almost done with the 1st trimester so that means I have energy again! Baby Seminole #2 is doing great. Mommy has gone through some sickness and been really tired but its all worth it. By this time when I was pregnant with McKenzie the only pregnancy symptoms I had were extreme fatigue, extreme aversion to chicken and a few tight shirts and skirts. Now I'm 11 weeks and 3 days and again I've had extreme fatigue but my aversion is to green veggies and there are so many smells I can't stand. I've also poked out at this point. Most of my dress clothes don't fit... they are either too big or too small. But like I said, its all worth it.

We went for my 1st official OB appointment on Feb. 23 and I was so worried something was going to be wrong. I know of so many people who have had miscarriages I was so worried it would happen to me. Well, while we were in there it was difficult to hear the heartbeat. Apparently the midwives could hear a really faint one but I couldn't hear anything. The funny thing is that even while they were moving the doppler all around on my belly to find the heartbeat I wasn't worrying. I knew that God is in control and this baby is going to be ok. I wish this calm had been over me before the appointment. The good thing about not getting a real strong heartbeat was that we got to do a quick ultrasound! It is amazing how much the baby has grown and changed in 3 weeks.

I have some pictures of the baby and my belly. I plan on updating once a week from this point on. I saw a really cute idea of this blog on pinterest so we'll see.

The peanut shot - 6 weeks and 6 days

Ultrasound #2 - 9 weeks and 6 days - see how much he/she has grown

9 weeks and 2 days - at Perdido Key for Winter Break

Happy 29th Birthday to me - 10 weeks and 3 days

New Due Date

Today was our 1st ultrasound with new little baby Seminole. I was nervous that something would be wrong because I know of so many people who have had miscarrages, but all was good. My orignial due date was September 6 but I am not measuring that far along. I am only measuring at 6 weeks and 6 days so Little Baby Seminole is due on September 21. I am excited about this date because it eliminates a lot of decisions about school for the baby. Also, later in September means a fall baby!
McKenzie seems to be doing well with the idea of a new baby. She tells me that there is a baby in her belly too. It is really cute! She also tells me she is going to have a baby brother. When I showed her the picture today and told her it was the baby she said "Ms. Stacey (our sitter) thats my baby brother". So funny. I am not sure how she would take it if we have a girl.
That is all for now. I go back on February 23rd for my 1st real appointment!

Another One is On the Way!

Since this was my pregnancy blog last time I have decided to make it again this time.
So yay! We are pregnant again!!!
I found out on January 11th and held it in to tell people until January 27th. Killer! McKenzie is excited to be a big sister though I don't think she knows what she is getting in to.
Jason and I are super excited to have another baby. I am nervous about how to juggle 2 kiddos at the same time but I know it will be fine, people do it all the time.
I feel great so far. I've been really tired and thats about all. No sickness or anything yet.
Oh, I'm 8 weeks and due September 6th. I will have another C-Section so I'm really looking at the end of August as my day to have a baby. We go Thursday February 2nd for our 1st ultrasound. I am praying that everything looks ok since we went ahead and decided to tell the whole world we're pregnant.
