Daddy's Little Girl

My daughter is going to be a Daddy's girl. Anytime she starts moving around a lot all Jason has to do is put his hand on my belly and she stops. It took FOREVER for him to actually feel her kick and thats happened only once. I'm not going to have any say in this child's life. Jason is going to be just like Rhett Butler in GWTW and claim she is the first thing that has completely belonged to him. Great Balls of Fire! I've been feeling particularly Scarlett O'Hara like in the last few days. I don't know if its because I haven't watched the movie in a couple of months or that its the 79th anniversary of the premier on the 15th. Anyways, here's week 24. As you can see I'm all belly!

As you can see my "timer" is out already (only 4 months early)

Leg Cramps, Itchy Tummy, Stretching ... Everything is changing!

Well, its a new week and time for a new post. Pretty much everything is going great. My body is changing rapidly though. I've had leg cramps a couple of nights a week for the past few weeks. Man they HURT! I've started streching before I go to bed to hopefully prevent them from happening again. My yoga really helps but I'm not as consistent with that as I need to be. Speaking of stretching my tummy seems to be doing that. Friday it seemed as if she was on my left side stretching it out, yesterday she was right in the middle and today on my right side. It feels like shes pushing her legs on my belly and begging for more room.... I guess I'm going to get bigger this week. I'll have a picture for you to see on Saturday because that is JohnBoy and Alicyn's wedding. I'm so looking forward to getting to dance with my hubby!!! My belly itches all the time now and my bobs are changing. I didn't think it was possible for them to get even bigger than they already are but I think that is happening too. It is amazing how much your body changes for just one person! I'm ok with it though because I love her so much and I can't wait until April to meet her!!!

Trip home and Baby Shower

So I finally got to go to Pensacola for the one trip while I'm pregnant. I so love going home. We got there Wednesday afternoon and then went to Tuscan Oven for dinner. Jason had never been and it was sooo yummy!!! Thursday was of coarse Thanksgiving and we spent the day at Granny and Papa's, this year Grandma and Grandpa came over too. Thanksgiving was really fun and it was the one time I got to see all of my family ... including Candi. Friday was mine and Candi's babyshower and it was AMAZING!!!! Ashley, Mom and Angie did such a good job. Since Candi and I were both in town and pretty much the whole family was there we had a coed baby shower. The guys really had a good time too. There were lots of great things we got and I can't wait until New Years when we paint the nursery and fix up our little girl's room. Maybe by then she'll have a name! Anyways here are some shots from the shower. I'm at 22 weeks and Candi is at 28 weeks.

All beacuse two people fell in love ....

These are from two of the games ... the String Game and the Dirty Diaper game

My family is so amazing!!!

20 weeks and growing

I'm 20 weeks along now and until this past week its been smooth sailing. I feel SOOO much better today. I've learned my lesson on drinking a lot of water. It is my new best friend. I took some pctures today of my belly. They aren't that great since I took them myself but you can see I'm growing. My little Seminole is really active today, she loves football. Jason can feel where she is now. He hasn't felt her kick yet, but I'm thinking that will come sometime this week. So here I am at 20 weeks and 4 days.

Crying and Back Pain

I am now beginning to experience the "fun" stuff of pregnancy. I seem to cry at everything, be it football games, parents leaving, or songs during the CMAs. I guess this is something to get used to.
Last night I got to cry for real though. At about 11:15 I had this sharp pain in the right side of my back. It lasted for about 15 minutes and made me nautious. I slept for about 45 minutes and started again. This continued until 2:30 when I called the on call person from the doctor and she told me I could take Tylenol and call the doctor in the morning. So I did that and got a couple of hours of sleep. I called and they could work me in at 1:20 so I slept until noon, which I really needed. I went to the doctor and apparently I have a kidney stone. Yuck. So now I'm taking it easy and drinking lots of water and lemonade (thanks Aunt Pam). Hopefully it'll pass soon and I can be back to normal.
I still go back on Thursday of next week for a normal appointment. So far I've gained 3 pounds in the 20 weeks I've been pregnant. I'm up to 135 now. Her heartbeat is strong and everything is good with her. That was my main concern about the pain. I guess that is all for now.

17 and 18 week belly shots

Here's some of the belly. The bare belly ones are of 17 weeks. I also have one of my belly button (see previous post). The ones in the softball shirt are 18 weeks and 2 days. I feel like I look like I've gained more than 2 pounds!

She is her Momma's daughter

So I am finally getting used to the fact that we are going to have a little girl. So many people told me they thought I was having a boy and how I'd be the perfect boy mom that I was convinced we're having a boy. That is why I was so shocked when the tech said we're having a girl.
On the Saturday after we found out she's a girl we were on our way to church for Trunk or Treat and listening to the FSU game on the radio. Because XM uses the home team's announcers I got to hear Gene Dekerhoff and the color announcer. The former color announcer was Peter Tom Willis, former QB for the Noles but the guy on Saturday was new. I could tell he was a black guy by the way he talked and he said he'd played Full Back. The only FB I could come up with that was black was William Floyd ... and that is who it was. I was so shocked that I guessed right. So I told my little gurl she had to be just like her Momma and LOVE the Seminoles. Apparently she is ...
This past Saturday we went to the FSU- Georgia Tech game. It was a lot of fun. Whenever we'd do the fight song and then break into F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE WHOO! she'd kick on beat. It was the most awesome thing ever. Then we had the comeback and heartbreaking loss at the end. Now, when I was little (ok, I was in high school) I used to cry everytime we lost. Well, my daughter is going to be just like me because I was walking out of the stadium crying. I knew it was silly but I just couldn't help it.
Though my little girl doesn't have a name yet I know for sure that she is her Momma's daughter and is a TRUE SEMINOLE!!!!

Oh and I'll have some pictures up tonight of my belly and the game.

It's a ....

Girl!!!!!
We're having a little Seminole Cheerleader! I am sooo shocked. I really thought that I was going to have a boy, but I guess I was wrong. She is a very photogenic baby and they got lots of pictures. I got several at my desk right now and I keep looking at them and I can't believe that she is in there and she is going to be mine and Jason's little darling. I can't put the pictures up right now because I don't have a scanner here but hopefully I can get them up soon.
Right now we don't have a name for our little girl. We had a boy name picked out since about day 1 but no girl name really stuck with us. So, hopefully in a few days or weeks we'll have a name for our little Seminole. I'll let you know as soon as I do!

Belly Button

So I'm infatuated with my belly button. Its gotten so shallow and I know its going to start poking out soon. Its really crazy to look at. I knew that innies turn into outies during pregnancy but I didn't know it'd happen so fast. Other than that all is good. Nothing new. I'm starting to look pregnant now and there is no more sleeping on my belly (which I am very sad about). Thats all for now!

Almost 15 weeks

So I'm almost 15 weeks now. I've decided that Baby Seminole is on my left side because all throughout the day today I would get these "cramps" on my left side. Its like that is the only side that is growning. My left side also sticks out more than my right. Anyways, thats about all for now. Here is the latest belly shot .... 14 weeks and 6 days!

Bump and Nole

So here are pictures. One is of me in my "Its a Nole" shirt and the other is my belly at 13 weeks and 4 days. Oh and the new thing I want is a onesie that says "Product of FSU Alumni". I saw it in the catalogue today and I believe it is a must have for our baby. Only 26 more days until we know what our little seminole is!

Dr. Appointment #3

So I had another doctor's appointment today. I lost 2lbs this month, which is wierd because I haven't been sick at all. I'm glad I lost weight and didn't gain a lot though. There will be plenty of time to gain weight later! We heard the heartbeat and it was amazing how strong it was. Last time it seemed to take forever to find the heartbeat but this time it started as soon as he put the doppler on my belly! The good news from this visit is I get to have an ultrasound and find out what we are having the next time I go which is October 23rd. I can't wait!!!! The doctor also said my growing pains are good and normal and I should keep on feeling them. I've been having my legs feel like they're falling asleep or getting cold when I sit through my 4.5 hour class on Tuesdays and he said to just get up and walk around and not sit that long. I'm totally fine with that because that class is EXTREMELY boring! I tried to take a picture of my belly so you can see that its sticking out a little but the batteries died and we have no others in the house. Hopefully Jason will get some tomorrow at work and I'll have a picture by this weekend.

On a side note, I think we're going to Target on Saturday to register for some of the basic things. I'm really excited to start acting like this baby is actually coming sometime in the future. It is amazing how much stuff you need for a baby. Anyways, thats all for now!

Growing Pains

Well, I've started to feel some growing pains. Yesterday it felt like I stretched a muscle on the left side of my belly and its been a little sore ever since. I guess that means I'm gonna start getting bigger. Its kind of a good thing a bad. I just feel fat right now, not really pregnant. I'm sorta ready to be in the phase where I actually look like there is a baby in me. I've also decided that I'm not going to have the baby until after March 21st. I can't come any earlier because the Atlanta Thrashers are going to be playing the Detroit Red Wings on March 20 and I want to go! The Wings have been my favorite team for YEARS and I've always wanted to see them play. So, if anyone wants to donate to the Williams' are broke but Pam wants to see the Red Wings so bad she can taste it fund I will gladly accept!

New Baby Blog

So I feel like I'm the only preggo person without a blog of my own and a baby blog. So here is the place to go for all the latest on our little seminole.
I'm really anxious to find out what we are having. I am tired of saying it or him/her or whatever this baby is. Thats why I call the baby my little seminole. I'm ready to have a name and start getting cute clothes and things for the baby. The doctor told me anywhere between 18 and 22 weeks I can find out. I'll be 18 weeks the week of Halloween so I'd LOVE to be able to know then. I keep having deams that the baby is a boy though. I don't care if it is a boy or girl, I just want to know!!!

I did get a "Its a Nole" shirt the other day! Momma and Daddy sent it to me! I got it on Thursday and wore it Friday to work. I was sooo happy to get it. I took a picture but for some reason my camera did not save the picture. So the next time I wear it (probably on Saturday) I'll take a picture. Anyways, that is all for me and the little nole now!
