So many changes
McKenzie is getting so big and in the last week it seems like so many things have happened. She's discovered her feet. She loves to hold on to them, especially when I'm changing her diaper. She puts everything in her mouth .... stuffed animals, blankets, fingers. She now is on formula. I wanted to ween her off breastmilk slowly but she really liked the formula. So, now she's a bottle baby. Lastly she now holds herself up when she's on her tummy. Ah, she is growing up so fast!

4th of July Weekend - lots of pictures
For the 4th Jason, McKenzie and I decided to go visit Jason's parents in Cades Cove. Friday we took McKenzie to her 1st amusement park - Dollywood. It was a great park for McKenzie because there wasn't a TON of people there like Disney or Six Flags and there are a lot of shows to see so Jason's parents could watch her. She enjoyed it, all except for the train ride. It blew coal on us (we didn't know that was going to happen) and she did not like being covered up. During the main show McKenzie was really into the musical aspect of it. She jus sat on Jason's lap and "watched" the show. I think she is going to be my theatrical girl. When I was pregnent I almost had craving like experiences with show tunes, so you never know.

On the actual 4th we hung around the camper and then went on The Loop around the Cove. We saw a bear in a tree but I didn't get a picture. Then we had a BBQ with the park rangers and volunteers (Jason's parents are volunteers). Later we headed into Townsend to watch fireworks. McKenzie loved them!

Sunday Jeffrey and Courtney came over and we hung out for the day. We took a long trip around the loop and saw lots of deer, no bear though.

Beach/ Swimming Girl!
We went to Cocoa last weekend and McKenzie got to see the Atlantic for the 1st time. She's not a big fan of being at the beach when its hot so we went Friday evening. I also tried to take her to the pool at the hotel but it was too hot then. I did get a pic of her with her cute sunglasses on though! Sunday we went to the beach long enouugh for me to get some pictures of McKenzie "laying out". That evening we went to Ms. Terry's pool and McKenzie got to swim for the fist time! She LOVED it!! I was so happy. I think the key is to let her swim when it isn't so hot out. She doesn't loved the chlorine though, her eczama (I don't know how to spell it) got a little worse even though I gave her a bath afterword. Anyways here are some pictures!

1st time on the Atlantic beach
Laying out at the pool ... and I FINALLY got an "I Love Mommy" pacifier (thanks Nana)
Chillin at the beach under the umbrella ... as you can see she doesn't really like it

2 month update
Tuesday we went for McKenzie's 2 month check up. She's a whopping 11lbs 5oz and 23.25 inches long. She's all good. SHe also got her 1st shots. It broke my heart to hear her cry like that. The Tylenol got her quiet though. She had no problems with the shots but I was dissapointed she didn't get a cute band-aid to put on. Isn't that the only good part of shots? Oh well, we're done with those for a little while!

I promise to post more
Ah, its been a while since I've posted and so much as gone on. We went to Pensacola for the 1st timeMemorial Day weekend. It was so much fun! McKenzie got to meet most of her extended family on Friday night. Saturday we went out to Perdido Key for some lunch at the Shrimp Basket and took McKenzie to the beach for the 1st time. It was a yucky day and really windy so she didn't like it too much. Jason and I really enjoyed being out there though. Sunday we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's chruch so they could show her off and hang out. Monday we went to Grannie and Papa's for a family get together. That was a blast. We played volleyball and swam. Inthe envening others fished in the pond. Jason and I are not real big on fishing. Tuesday we sadly had to leave but we took McKenzie to Ashley's and Mom's work so they could show her off. Its amazing how many people want to see my baby girl.

Getting ready for bed

Wednesday was a big day for me. We put McKenzie in her crib for the first night. She LOVES her crib. I took pictures to mark the event ... she's so cute! The first few are from the first night and the last one is from yesterday. I can't believe my baby is growing so fast. I have to go back to work tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. Jason will be with her Monday and our friend Ashley will be with her the rest of the week. Monday and Tuesday next I have to work too but McKenzie is going with me those days. Then summer starts!!!
McKenzie is sticking her tounge out at me. I think she's saying "Ha Mom, I'm sleeping in my bed now!"

Mother's Day
Mother's Day weekend was a great weekend for the Williams family. Momma, Daddy and Ashley came up for a visit. Saturday we went shopping and I got some new clothes that fit AND don't make me feel fat. I've been having clothing issues. I've lost 20lbs so far and I have 10 to go before I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight. My clothes "fit" they're just a little tight. I've been wearing a lot of dresses and skirts lately. I also gor a new bathing suit and I really like it.

Sunday we went to church. I got McKenzie all cute in a dress and was going to take a family picture in front of the fountain after church and sje decided to spit up all over her dress and car seat. I cried. What can I say, I'm emotional. After church I opened my very first Mother's Day gifts. McKenzie got me a hydrangia, which I have wanted for over a year. Momma and Daddy got me a locket with two pictures of my preciuos angel in it.
The came the BEST part of the day. We took McKenzie to her very first FSU game. The Noles were playing Georgia Tech in baseball all weekend so we went to the game. Just like in the football game this past year we lost at the very end. Too bad for the Noles but we had a great time. Here are some pictures of McKenzie's 1st game.
