I'm 20 weeks along now and until this past week its been smooth sailing. I feel SOOO much better today. I've learned my lesson on drinking a lot of water. It is my new best friend. I took some pctures today of my belly. They aren't that great since I took them myself but you can see I'm growing. My little Seminole is really active today, she loves football. Jason can feel where she is now. He hasn't felt her kick yet, but I'm thinking that will come sometime this week. So here I am at 20 weeks and 4 days.

Crying and Back Pain
I am now beginning to experience the "fun" stuff of pregnancy. I seem to cry at everything, be it football games, parents leaving, or songs during the CMAs. I guess this is something to get used to.
Last night I got to cry for real though. At about 11:15 I had this sharp pain in the right side of my back. It lasted for about 15 minutes and made me nautious. I slept for about 45 minutes and started again. This continued until 2:30 when I called the on call person from the doctor and she told me I could take Tylenol and call the doctor in the morning. So I did that and got a couple of hours of sleep. I called and they could work me in at 1:20 so I slept until noon, which I really needed. I went to the doctor and apparently I have a kidney stone. Yuck. So now I'm taking it easy and drinking lots of water and lemonade (thanks Aunt Pam). Hopefully it'll pass soon and I can be back to normal.
I still go back on Thursday of next week for a normal appointment. So far I've gained 3 pounds in the 20 weeks I've been pregnant. I'm up to 135 now. Her heartbeat is strong and everything is good with her. That was my main concern about the pain. I guess that is all for now.

17 and 18 week belly shots
Here's some of the belly. The bare belly ones are of 17 weeks. I also have one of my belly button (see previous post). The ones in the softball shirt are 18 weeks and 2 days. I feel like I look like I've gained more than 2 pounds!
She is her Momma's daughter
So I am finally getting used to the fact that we are going to have a little girl. So many people told me they thought I was having a boy and how I'd be the perfect boy mom that I was convinced we're having a boy. That is why I was so shocked when the tech said we're having a girl.
On the Saturday after we found out she's a girl we were on our way to church for Trunk or Treat and listening to the FSU game on the radio. Because XM uses the home team's announcers I got to hear Gene Dekerhoff and the color announcer. The former color announcer was Peter Tom Willis, former QB for the Noles but the guy on Saturday was new. I could tell he was a black guy by the way he talked and he said he'd played Full Back. The only FB I could come up with that was black was William Floyd ... and that is who it was. I was so shocked that I guessed right. So I told my little gurl she had to be just like her Momma and LOVE the Seminoles. Apparently she is ...
This past Saturday we went to the FSU- Georgia Tech game. It was a lot of fun. Whenever we'd do the fight song and then break into F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE, FLORIDA STATE WHOO! she'd kick on beat. It was the most awesome thing ever. Then we had the comeback and heartbreaking loss at the end. Now, when I was little (ok, I was in high school) I used to cry everytime we lost. Well, my daughter is going to be just like me because I was walking out of the stadium crying. I knew it was silly but I just couldn't help it.
Though my little girl doesn't have a name yet I know for sure that she is her Momma's daughter and is a TRUE SEMINOLE!!!!
Oh and I'll have some pictures up tonight of my belly and the game.
